Be Our Guest

As we embark on the holiday season family and friends will be traveling to visit one another. You may have houseguests staying with you and it is important to ensure they are comfortable. I enjoy hosting my family and friends. Today I’m sharing my top guestroom necessities.
Extra Blanket, Pillows, and Towels- It is important to remember that you may keep your thermostat higher or even lower than your guest; providing an extra blanket for bedtime can be helpful. I also put extra pillows on the bed or in an easily accessible area in the room. Extra towels in the bathroom are a must! If your guests don’t have a separate bathroom to use it is okay; just have their towels available in their room upon arrival.

Bottled Water and Snacks- I always place a few bottles of water on the dresser or nightstand for guests. I also leave a little personalized touch by leaving a basket of snacks in their room. I check in with guests before they arrive to see what snacks they prefer or if they have a favorite late-night craving. Your guest might not be comfortable roaming the halls of your house in the middle of the night; as they may at home. The snack basket in their room will fix that problem!
Toiletries, Reading Material, and the Wi-Fi Password- I keep travel-size toiletries on hand just in case my guests are anything like me and forget something in their toiletry bag. I leave magazines on the nightstand along with the Wi-Fi password.
It is the special additions in your guestroom that will make your guest feel at home and comfortable during their stay with you. Be prepared for your next guest with these helpful tips. Never a goodbye but always a see you later. Until next time!
