One Room Challenge: Week Eight

The Final Reveal

We have made it to the Final Week of the One Room Challenge! This has been an amazing journey over the last eight weeks. I have truly enjoyed working on my guest bedroom and bring you all along for the ride!

Let's rewind back and discuss the last few weeks. The design concept came together after deciding to move forward with creating a guest bedroom instead of a home office. I realized that this new chapter in my life is self expression. Your home is an extension of you and your design style speaks through your color choices, furniture selections, and home decor. I am very eclectic and I enjoy pops of color, but I will always incorporate black in a design. As much as I told myself that when I moved into my rental this past summer that I was going to have a colorful house, that is not what spoke to me. When I purchased my rust orange sofa I just knew I was on a voyage of COLOR. Again that's not what spoke to me, I have been designing as I go! And adding little splashes of color here and there.

My guest bedroom was no different. I love the vibrant, rich color choices that paired well with the neutral tones in the space. I hope you have enjoyed the guest bedroom transformation. The room is truly a relaxing VIBE right in time for the holidays. This space is ready for an overnight guest.
